1. Pricing, Deposit & Payment Terms
- Published Tour Rates (VAT Included): Group Tour is $65 USD per person (regular $89) and Private Tour is $80 USD per person (regular $109). All published prices on Eco Trip Asia include VAT.
- Online Deposit to Confirm Booking: To lock in your vehicle and Hanoi hotel transfer, you pay a 15% deposit online (reduced to 10% for orders from $100 USD).
- Payment Gateway Fee: Online deposits or full payments via PayPal or international credit/debit card carry a standard 4% payment gateway processing fee.
- Remaining Balance: The remaining balance (85% or 90%) is paid directly in Hanoi on the day of your tour before departure.
2. Date Changes, Cancellations & Severe Weather
- Free Date or Time Slot Change: Need to switch from the 08:00 AM slot to 12:30 PM,
or move your tour to another day? Date and departure slot changes are free of
charge whenever vehicle and driver capacity is available. Contact us via WhatsApp

+84 879 617 691) or email (info@ecotripasia.com) as early as possible. - Guest Cancellation: Because off-road vehicles, trail marshals, and private car/van transfers are reserved specifically for your slot, the booking deposit (15% or 10%) is non-refundable if you cancel your reservation.
- Cancellation by Eco Trip Asia (Severe Weather): Light rain makes the Sóc Sơn clay trails muddy and fun (we provide rain gear). However, if Eco Trip Asia must cancel a departure due to dangerous weather (typhoon warnings, severe lightning, or unsafe trail flooding), you may choose either a free reschedule to another date or a 100% refund of your deposit.
3. Child Policy & Passenger Rules
- Children Aged 5–8 Years: Charged at 75% of the adult price. Children in this age bracket ride safely in the passenger bucket seat alongside a parent/adult or our trail marshal.
- Children Under 5 Years: Free of charge (may join the private car/van transfer and basecamp pine forest area; not recommended on steep off-road trail sectors).
